Job Summary

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. You will lead a dedicated team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are spotless and welcoming for our guests. Your leadership will be essential in upholding our high standards of hospitality, creating an inviting atmosphere that enhances the guest experience.

What you'll do

  • Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping staff to foster a productive and positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability while minimizing waste.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous hotel experience as a Housekeeper.
  • Familiarity with janitorial procedures and custodial experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
