Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Finance Manager, located in Edmonton, AB. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, managing financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The role will include activities such as budget management, financial analysis, audit preparation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • Financial planning, financial analysis, and risk management skills
  • Experience with budget management and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and compliance
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or relevant certification is a plus
  • Experience in the distribution or supply chain industry is beneficial
  • Cashflow management
  • Cost control management
  • Preparing GST
  • Preparing monthly and weekly reports
  • Managing A/P and A/R
  • Ensure accuracy from Billing Department
  • Cost control, reviewing payments and invoices
  • Experience in Transportation and Logistics would be an asset
