Play Palooza Indoor Play Center – Bradford, ON

Play Palooza is looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and friendly team member to support our Drop-In Play operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming play environment.

Position: Drop-In Play Attendant

Location: Play Palooza Indoor Play Center – 105 Holland St E, Bradford

Hours: Casual/part-time shifts, primarily daytime, evenings, weekends, and PA Day/event coverage

Employment Type: Casual to start, with potential for regular weekly hours in the new year.

Job Summary

The Drop-In Play Attendant is responsible for providing a positive guest experience by supervising play areas, supporting families during their visit, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage with children and families in a professional, welcoming manner.

Responsibilities

  • Greet families and provide exceptional customer service
  • Monitor play areas to ensure safety and appropriate use of equipment
  • Engage with children in a warm, friendly, and supportive manner
  • Assist with party and event set-up, transitions, and general hosting
  • Process admissions and café transactions using our Square POS system
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility
  • Complete end-of-shift cleaning and reset tasks
  • Support management with general operational needs as required

Experience & Qualifications

  • Customer service or childcare experience is an asset but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
  • Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable supervising children in an active play setting
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required
  • CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
