AP Clerk

Cellula is looking to add a Part-time hours/week) AP Clerk to its Finance team to support its growing list of projects.

As the AP Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and maintaining records of all vendor invoices and payments accurately and efficiently within the company's ERP system. This includes matching invoices to purchase orders (PO), processing non-PO invoices, reviewing and recording staff expense reports, reconciling corporate credit card (Visa) statements, and reconciling the accounts payable ledger.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review the daily unmatched receiving report to identify purchase orders received but not yet invoiced.
• Match vendor invoices to POs and ensure accuracy of quantities and prices.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices, Pos, by coordinating with purchasing and receiving department.
• Review vendor statements, investigate outstanding or missing invoices.
• Review and prepare weekly AP reports.
• Reconcile the accounts payable subledger to the general ledger and ensure all transactions are posted correctly.
• Prepare and execute vendor payment runs via ACH, EFT, Wire Transfer, or Cheque in accordance with company schedules and approval processes.
• Receive and review employee expense reports and supporting receipts for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile corporate credit card (Visa) statements, resolve discrepancies, if any.
• Assist with month-end processes.
• Perform other tasks and duties as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience with AP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently
• Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with Netsuite ERP
