Job Description:
We're looking for a Marketing Capabilities Manager to support the delivery and continuous improvement of marketing capabilities for TD by translating business needs into operational MarTech requirements and solutions. You will own backlog prioritization, requirements, workflow design, and cross-functional delivery with Marketing, Technology, and Analytics partners.
This role collaborates with Marketing, Data, and Technology teams to convert requirements into user stories, workflows, and wireframes. The position is responsible for facilitating delivery through JIRA and Kanban/ART cadences, documenting solutions, and supporting marketing teams. Candidates with experience in Marketing Technologies, strong data proficiency, and a background in leading complex projects are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate adoption and optimize the use of new capabilities. Lead efforts to integrate these capabilities into operational processes.
- Define, document, and manage end-to-end marketing capability requirements (use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria) for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and adjacent platforms.
- Run discovery workshops with business stakeholders to translate marketing objectives into technical and operational solutions.
- Design and map marketing workflows, journey flows, data flows, and integration touchpoints between various systems
- Prioritize and manage a delivery backlog using ART/Program increment planning, Kanban boards, and JIRA; own sprint-level artifacts and cadence.
- Build wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to communicate customer journeys and campaign experiences using design tools.
- Establish measurement definitions, success criteria, and reporting requirements to demonstrate business impact (LTV, retention, conversion).
- Create and maintain Confluence documentation: solution designs, artifacts, operating procedures, and training materials for marketing ops teams.
What You Bring
- 5+ years experience in marketing operations, MarTech product management, or marketing technology delivery.
- Practical knowledge of Agile delivery at scale: ART/PI planning, Kanban flow, sprint ceremonies, and JIRA administration.
- Strong capability writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical/functional requirements.
- Experience designing workflows and customer journeys for digital marketing and cross-channel campaigns.
- Proficiency with Confluence for structured documentation and knowledge management.
- Experience producing wireframes or clickable prototypes with design tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to operate in a matrixed environment.
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile Scrum or Product Owner certification (e.g., CSPO).
- Knowledge of Insurance business, Bank Act, Privacy regulations.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry like financial services.
- Knowledge of Marketing technologies from Salesforce, Adobe
