HVAC Technical Support Representative
About The Role
You'll be actively involved in supporting live HVAC projects, working directly with distributors, contractors, and internal sales teams. Your technical knowledge and practical experience will play a key role in keeping projects moving efficiently from design through installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate pricing, technical submittals, and equipment specifications for fans, ERVs, and heat pump systems
- Diagnose and resolve installation and operational issues in the field
- Analyze mechanical drawings to confirm correct equipment selection and system performance
- Partner with engineering and sales teams to refine technical documentation and project execution
- Assist with industry tradeshows, customer training programs, and sales support initiatives
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being a trusted technical advisor and tackling challenges that impact real projects.
Qualifications
- Experience with heat pump systems is strongly preferred
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1–3+ years of experience in HVAC or ventilation systems is ideal
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and understand airflow and performance fundamentals
- Strong communication skills with a highly organized, service-oriented approach
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms
Preferred Experience
- HVAC/R certification or additional technical training
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience delivering or supporting training for distributors or contractors
