We are currently looking for one Health and Safety Supervisor to join our team. The Health and Safety Supervisor will play a key role in supporting day-to-day safety operations across our company and project sites. This is a hands-on, office and site-based position focused on maintaining safe work environments, assisting with field inspections, supporting incident reporting, and helping reinforce our overall safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, update and manage the company Health and Safety Management System.
- Support day-to-day health & safety activities across active project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety observations.
- Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Support, schedule and document toolbox talks, orientations, and ongoing safety communications.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable legislation.
- Participate in safety audits and assist in implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborate with site teams to promote a strong, proactive safety culture.
- Provide general safety support based on operational needs as the organization grows.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction, Environmental Health, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in a safety-related role is an asset, but strong early-career candidates will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of Ontario safety regulations (OHSA) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, good judgment, and the ability to learn quickly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with site teams.
- Proactive mindset with a genuine interest in long-term growth in the safety field.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
