Position Scope:

We are an asset-based third-party logistics company that offers choice, capacity, and coverage for your entire supply chain across North America. Fastfrate is the largest trucking company that has a Canada-wide network. Our facilities span from coast to coast with terminals in every major city in Canada.

We are looking for individuals that would like to join a fast paced, professional, growing environment. You will oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company. You will be the one to complete pricing and grow our carrier network within our Logistics division to achieve the effective distribution of goods. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities of Pricing Analyst:

Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL, rail, road, air.Work closely with leaders and business development departments to develop compliant cost/price strategies and proposalsCreate customer proposalsMaintain professional communication with Director throughout the RFQ process on cost strategies and to ensure best pricing is presented in each proposalResearch and track competitor pricing and market trendsMaintain and improve existing pricing process and costsRespond quickly to spot quotesUploading rates and maintenance of rate programs in TMS softwareBe available after hours to assist with resolving pricing issuesGrow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationshipsPreform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail

Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (MON-FRI)

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years logistics experience in the transportation industryExperience in cross boarder shipping, full-truckload as well as less-than-truckloadAdvanced Excel skills including use of VLOOKUP and Pivot TablesStrong attention to detailsLarge network and excellent knowledge of crossborder and domestic carriersAbility to manage time effectively and multi-taskEffective teamwork skillsAbility to effectively handle multiple conflicting prioritiesStrong communication, customer service and computer skillsAbility to build rapport with both carriers and customersMUST be bilingual (both French and English)MUST be proficient in Excel

Nous recherchons des personnes qui aimeraient se joindre à un environnement professionnel et en croissance rapide. Vous superviserez et faciliterez les opérations de la chaîne d'approvisionnement de notre entreprise. Vous serez responsable à compléter la tarification et à développer notre réseau de transporteurs au sein de notre division Logistique pour parvenir à une distribution efficace des marchandises. L'objectif est d'assurer le bon fonctionnement d'une variété de canaux visant une efficacité maximale.

Responsabilités de l'analyste des prix :

Négocier les tarifs de fret avec les transporteurs pour les TL et LTL nationaux et transfrontaliers, ferroviaires, routiers, aériens.Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les dirigeants et les services de développement commercial pour développer des stratégies et des propositions de coûts/prix conformesCréer des propositions clientsMaintenir une communication professionnelle avec le directeur tout au long du processus de demande de devis sur les stratégies de coûts et s'assurer que le meilleur prix est présenté dans chaque propositionRechercher et suivre les prix des concurrents et les tendances du marchéMaintenir et améliorer le processus de tarification et les coûts existantsRépondez rapidement aux devisTéléchargement des tarifs et maintenance des programmes tarifaires dans le logiciel TMSÊtre disponible après les heures pour aider à résoudre les problèmes de prixDévelopper et maintenir les relations existantes et nouvelles avec les transporteurs ou les clientsExécuter le travail avec un sens de l'urgence et une attention aux détails

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en logistique dans l'industrie du transportExpérience dans le transport transfrontalier, les chargements complets ainsi que les chargements partielsCompétences avancées d'Excel, y compris l'utilisation de RECHERCHEV et de tableaux croisés dynamiquesForte attention aux détailsGrand réseau et excellente connaissance des transporteurs transfrontaliers et nationauxCapacité à gérer son temps efficacement et à effectuer plusieurs tâchesCompétences efficaces en travail d'équipeCapacité à gérer efficacement plusieurs priorités conflictuellesSolides compétences en communication, service à la clientèle et informatiqueCapacité à établir des relations avec les transporteurs et les clients
