Position Overview We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Clerk with prior experience in the food manufacturing industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong data‑entry accuracy, a solid understanding of AP processes, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Process, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Match invoices with purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documents. Verify pricing, quantities, and approvals prior to posting. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain accurate AP files and electronic records. Support month‑end closing and assist with accruals as required. Collaborate with purchasing, production, and receiving teams to ensure proper documentation. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience (preferably in food manufacturing or production). Strong data entry and invoice processing skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with ERP or accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP). Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Ability to manage high volumes of invoices and meet deadlines.
