Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled structural welder / fabricator to join our team. As a welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding / fabricating / processing / fitting tasks to support our production operations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties

  • Operate power tools, welding equipment, and plasma cutting machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements.
  • Perform welding tasks such as MIG, TIG, FCAW and MCAW welding.
  • CWB TICKETS REQUIRED.
  • Fit and finish at a high quality level.
  • Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Rig and move materials using cranes and/or other lifting equipment.
  • QC checks of welded parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assist with machining and assembly tasks as needed.
  • FIELD WORK WILL BE REQUIRED FROM TIME TO TIME (LOCAL & AWAY)

Experience

  • Proven experience as a welder or similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
  • Experience operating cranes or other lifting equipment.
  • VALID CWB TICKETS

Applicants with current CWB tickets for FCAW/SMAW will have priority.

Successful candidates will speak and understand English. Be punctual. Be able to pass pre-employment D&A testing.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Must reside in the Edmonton area. Only applicants chosen for an interview will be contacted.

**We are not looking for any rig welders or subcontractors at this time**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
