Our Fabrication shop specializes in the design and fabrication of pressure piping, fittings and vessels. The Role

We are currently seeking skilled  CWB Journeyman Welders for our fabrication shop in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Day and Night Shifts available. 

Please note: This role is strictly for By-hand CWB Welders. 

Compensation/Benefits

Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensationOvertime after 8 hours per day.6% vacation pay and  4% stat holiday pay on all regular hours.Benefits after 90 days of employment (50% employer paid) - vision, health, dental, paramedicals, travelLong term disability, AD&D, life insurance, dependent life insuranceWeekly pay 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Perform high-quality welding using FCAW and MCAW processes to CWB standardsInterpret drawings, blueprints and welding proceduresWeld structural components and materials according to project specificationsEnsure all welds meet or exceed CWB and internal quality requirementsMaintain welding equipment and a clean, safe working environment

Experience/Education/Qualifications

Registered Journeyman Welder Valid CWB qualificationsCurrent FCAW and MCAW ticketsPrevious experience in fabrication shop and/or field workCSTS 2020 Fundamentals (including WHMIS 2015)May be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test for certain sitesMust have or be willing to obtain necessary site-specific safety tickets and orientationsClass 5 driver's license with reliable transportationMust be eligible to work in Canada
