Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafeteria Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that every guest has a positive dining experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria area, including dining and serving spaces.
  • Assist customers with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service.
  • Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and coffee machines.
  • Provide support in various areas of the cafeteria as needed, including barista duties.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential.
  • Experience in serving food and handling various kitchen equipment is a plus.
  • Barista experience is an advantage for those interested in beverage preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
