1. Primary Mission

We are seeking a
strategic and design-driven Director of Visual Merchandising & Go-to-Market
who can translate the company's creative and commercial vision into immersive, consistent, and high-impact experiences across all customer touchpoints.

This role is responsible for the visual presentation, planning, and execution of our in-store and digital environments to maximize aesthetic impact, customer engagement, and business performance.

In close partnership with the Creative, Merchandising, Marketing, and Operations teams, the Director ensures flawless visual execution that reflects the brand's identity while adapting to the commercial reality of each store.

2. Direct Responsibilities

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Define and execute the go-to-market and visual strategy aligned with the commercial calendar, product collections, and marketing campaigns.
  • Plan product launches, seasonal themes, and floor-set transitions across the store network.
  • Collaborate on product selection and allocation based on commercial priorities and category performance.
  • Ensure every product presentation reinforces brand positioning and delivers a cohesive customer experience.

Visual Merchandising

  • Design, implement, and oversee visual merchandising execution across all retail locations.
  • Create and maintain detailed visual guidelines and planograms to ensure consistency and inspiration across the network.
  • Develop storytelling and environmental concepts that elevate brand identity and product desirability.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the visual quality, customer experience, and commercial efficiency of displays.

Customer Experience & Performance

  • Translate marketing and product strategies into immersive, emotional in-store experiences.
  • Partner with store leadership to optimize customer flow, space utilization, and product visibility.
  • Measure the impact of visual initiatives on sales, conversion, and customer perception.
  • Integrate store feedback and customer insights into future visual strategies.
  • Training & Field Enablement
  • Train and coach store teams on visual standards, presentation principles, and brand storytelling.
  • Develop visual toolkits (guidelines, videos, presentations) to promote consistent execution.
  • Act as the brand's aesthetic and experiential ambassador, fostering pride and excellence across all teams.

3. Collaborative Responsibilities

  • The Director of Visual Merchandising & Go-to-Market works closely with:
  • The Creative & Product Development Director, to ensure seamless aesthetic and storytelling alignment across collections.
  • The VP of Merchandising & Planning, to synchronize visual priorities with assortment, sales objectives, and category performance.
  • The Marketing team, to align in-store visuals with campaign imagery, seasonal storytelling, and digital content.
  • The Operations team, to guarantee smooth implementation of directives across the retail network.

4. Desired Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Visual Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in visual merchandising, go-to-market strategy, or experiential retail management within furniture, design, or fashion.
  • Visual Expertise: Strong sense of spatial design, lighting, composition, and international retail trends.
  • Strategic Skills: Ability to bridge creativity and commerce — planning, prioritizing, and executing according to both aesthetic and business goals.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to inspire, influence, and mobilize field teams without direct authority.
  • Operational Excellence: High attention to detail, strong sense of quality, and flawless execution under commercial timelines.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.

par le design d'espace et l'expérience client.

Sa mission principale est de traduire la vision créative et commerciale de l'entreprise en expériences immersives et cohérentes, tant en magasin qu'en ligne.

Le(la) Directeur(trice) Mise en Marché & Visuel est responsable de la présentation, de la planification et de l'exécution visuelle des produits à travers tous les points de contact, afin d'optimiser l'impact esthétique, l'engagement client et la performance commerciale.

En collaboration étroite avec les équipes Création, Marchandisage, Marketing et Opérations, il(elle) assure une exécution visuelle exemplaire, fidèle à l'identité de la marque et adaptée à la réalité de chaque magasin.

2. Responsabilités directes

Stratégie de mise en marché

  • Définir et exécuter la stratégie de mise en marché alignée avec le calendrier commercial, les collections et les campagnes marketing.
  • Planifier les lancements produits, les thématiques saisonnières et les transitions de plancher.
  • Collaborer à la sélection et à la répartition des produits en fonction des priorités commerciales et de la performance par catégorie.
  • S'assurer que chaque présentation produit reflète la stratégie de marque et la promesse client.

Merchandising visuel

  • Concevoir, implanter et superviser l'exécution visuelle dans l'ensemble des magasins du réseau.
  • Créer et maintenir des guides visuels et planogrammes détaillés pour assurer une présentation cohérente et inspirante à travers tous les points de vente.
  • Développer des concepts d'ambiance et de storytelling visuel qui renforcent l'identité de la marque et maximisent la désirabilité produit.
  • Évaluer et améliorer continuellement la qualité visuelle, l'expérience client et l'efficacité des implantations.

Expérience client & performance

  • Traduire les stratégies marketing et produit en expériences immersives et émotionnelles sur le plancher.
  • Collaborer avec les directeurs de magasin pour optimiser le parcours client, la fluidité des espaces et la mise en avant des produits clés.
  • Mesurer l'impact des implantations sur la conversion, les ventes et la perception client.
  • Intégrer les retours du terrain et les insights consommateurs dans la planification visuelle future.

Formation & accompagnement

  • Former et encadrer les équipes magasin sur les standards visuels, les principes de présentation et la culture de marque.
  • Développer des outils pédagogiques (guides visuels, capsules vidéos, présentations) pour diffuser les bonnes pratiques.
  • Agir comme ambassadeur(ice) de la vision esthétique et commerciale auprès des équipes internes.

3. Responsabilités en collaboration

  • Le(la) Directeur(trice) Mise en Marché & Visuel travaille en synergie avec :
  • Le Directeur Créatif & Développement de Produits, pour assurer la cohérence esthétique et le storytelling des collections.
  • Le VP Merchandising & Planning, pour aligner la présentation produit avec les objectifs commerciaux, les priorités d'assortiment et la performance par catégorie.
  • Le Marketing, pour synchroniser les visuels magasins avec les campagnes média, les lancements de collections et les contenus digitaux.
  • Les Opérations, pour garantir l'exécution harmonieuse des directives visuelles à travers le réseau.

4. Profil recherché

  • Formation : Baccalauréat en design d'intérieur, design visuel, arts visuels, architecture, commerce de détail ou domaine connexe.
  • Expérience : Minimum de 8 à 10 ans d'expérience en visual merchandising, direction de mise en marché ou gestion de l'expérience client dans le secteur du retail, du design ou de la mode.
  • Expertise visuelle : Sens aigu du design d'espace, de la lumière, de la composition et des tendances retail internationales.
  • Compétences stratégiques : Capacité à relier esthétique et performance commerciale, à planifier et prioriser selon les objectifs de ventes et d'image.
  • Leadership terrain : Capacité à mobiliser des équipes locales, à influencer sans autorité directe et à faire vivre la marque dans chaque magasin.
  • Exécution rigoureuse : Excellente gestion du détail, sens de la qualité et du tempo commercial.
  • Langues : Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais à l'oral et à l'écrit.
