The Opportunity
We're seeking an organized, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing team. Acting as the key link between clients, service technicians, and internal departments, this role ensures the efficient scheduling, coordination, and documentation of all service activities. The Service Advisor will manage incoming service requests, provide professional customer support, and maintain accurate service records while helping to optimize dispatch efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for a proactive communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and schedule service calls, ensuring timely dispatch of technicians and efficient use of resources.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, updates, and follow-ups with professionalism and care.
- Communicate job details, schedules, and updates clearly between clients, technicians, and the Service Manager.
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and daily reports.
- Support front office operations, including answering calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating payment processing.
- Monitor technician schedules and availability to optimize routes and response times.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and field teams to ensure smooth, efficient service delivery.
What You Bring
- Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in dispatch, scheduling, or customer service, ideally within construction, plumbing, or mechanical services.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suiteand scheduling or CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
