This is an excellent seasonal opportunity for hardworking individuals who enjoy working outdoors and want to be part of a reliable and high-performing winter maintenance team. Job Description: We are seeking physically fit and dependable Shovellers to support snow removal operations throughout the winter season. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in cold weather, able to respond promptly to snow events, and committed to ensuring walkways, entrances, and paths remain safe and accessible. Responsibilities: Manually remove snow using shovels, ice chippers, and other hand tools Clear sidewalks, building entrances, stairs, and walkways Apply salt or ice melt to prevent slipping hazards Respond quickly to snow events based on dispatch instructions Maintain safety protocols and use proper lifting techniques Work independently and as part of a team to complete routes efficiently Communicate with supervisors or dispatch as needed Ensure all assigned areas are cleared thoroughly and on time Requirements: Physically fit and able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs Reliable and punctual, with the ability to respond to snow calls quickly Comfortable working in cold, snowy, and icy conditions Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays Strong attention to detail and safety Previous experience in snow removal is an asset but not required Proper winter clothing and footwear required Benefits: Competitive pay: $30.00 per hour On-call flexibility for those looking to earn extra income Opportunity for consistent seasonal work Supportive work environment and team Training and safety orientation provided Shift Timing: 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM, depending on snow events.
