This position plays a pivotal role in driving business growth, deepening client relationships, and helping shape DNM's reputation for excellence across every project we deliver.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Consultation

- Provide expert advice on layouts, finishes, and design options based on function, style, and budget.
- Partner with Project Teams to ensure consistency in communication, documentation, and project handoffs.

- Promote and sell DNM's comprehensive range of building, renovation & construction service offerings.
- Translate client needs into viable projects that align with company objectives.
- Support business development goals through solution-based selling and superior customer experience.
- Assist in negotiating and finalizing client agreements, ensuring clarity of deliverables and expectations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, innovations, and competitor offerings.
Design Advisory and Material Selection
- Curate and recommend suitable materials, finishes, and fixtures tailored to each project.
- Source samples, catalogues, or digital visualizations to support client decision-making.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure availability, pricing accuracy, and quality standards.
- Remain current on emerging design and building trends to provide clients with innovative options.
Collaboration and Project Support
- Work with estimators to ensure proposals and budgets reflect client-approved designs.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless transition from design to execution.
- Provide ongoing support during construction as needed to maintain design integrity and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate internally to address any design-related adjustments or feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation and Administration
- Maintain detailed records of client consultations, proposals, and design selections.
- Support reporting and forecasting on sales performance, client engagement, and conversion metrics.
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in Design, Architecture, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in design advisory, consultative sales, or client management.
- Proven ability to translate client needs into actionable design and construction solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with construction, renovation, and project management processes.
- Valid Ontario G-Class Driver's License with a clean abstract.
