Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-out Caregiver to provide essential support and care for individuals in need. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and promoting their overall well-being. Flexible day and time 4 hours per day and Japanese speaking female is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide patient care including monitoring vital signs and administering medication as per care plans.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization of the client's space.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Observe and document changes in the client's condition, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
  • Support clients with mobility assistance using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
  • Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including those with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality of client information.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or direct support professional.
  • Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring for changes in health status.
  • Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs.
  • Understanding of senior care principles and practices related to memory care and hospice care is a plus.
