Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the EVP of Sales & Marketing, the Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing sustainable, long-term client relationships. This role focuses on strategic sales planning, market expansion, and solution-based selling within logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment services. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, business insight, and the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and secure new business by targeting prospective customers seeking 3PL logistics, warehousing, and fulfillment solutions.
- Execute strategic sales initiatives to increase revenue and expand market presence.
- Evaluate sales, marketing, supplier, and vendor processes and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
- Review, prepare, and approve documentation related to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Lead contract negotiations, finalize pricing approvals, and close sales agreements.
- Monitor industry trends and customer needs to propose new or enhanced service offerings.
- Present growth opportunities, sales strategies, and market insights to senior leadership.
- Manage and grow assigned accounts, ensuring strong customer relationships, satisfaction, and retention.
- Oversee revenue performance, monthly reporting, training initiatives, and achievement of sales targets.
- Support new clients post-sale by addressing issues, providing ongoing support, and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Lead customer onboarding by completing onboarding programs and documenting operational and service requirements.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline to support forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure all sales activities and documentation are properly recorded in CRM systems.
- Participate in special sales-related projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree considered an asset).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics sales and/or operations.
- Proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience in account acquisition, development, and upselling.
- Solid understanding of supply chain services and systems, including WMS, OMS, and TMS platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and persuasive approach.
