Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Audiologist / Hearing Aid Practitioner located in Metropolitan Edmonton, AB. The Audiologist / Hearing Aid Practitioner will be responsible for conducting hearing assessments, fitting, and programming hearing aids, maintaining patient records, and providing ongoing patient support and education. The role may include participating in community outreach programs, maintaining office equipment, and staying updated with the latest advancements in hearing aid technology.

Qualifications

  • Professional track record dealing with clients, coworkers, management, and hearing aid manufacturers
  • Sincere, outgoing and friendly personality, with genuine desire to assist clients with their hearing care needs
  • a team player aspiring to enhance and promote a positive work environment
  • Proficiency in conducting hearing assessments and diagnostics
  • Experience in fitting and programming hearing aids
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed patient records
  • Experience in community outreach and patient education is a plus
  • Certification and licensure as an Audiologist or RHAP in Alberta
  • HAP Interns are also encouraged to apply, particularly if close to completing their exams
