Certified Health Care Aide NW - NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE SUBMIT REQUESTED INFORMATION. Experience with managing mental health behaviours & complex dementia behaviours , must excel in attention to detail and take pride in supportive domestic duties as well as HCA duties. HCA certification is minimum requirement. with experience in Point Click Care. We are seeking reliable, compassionate, self driven HCA's who take pride in everything they do, with top notch STRONG ATTENTION to DETAIL. The Top 5% of candidates qualify as team members, if you possess exceptional dedication and demand the highest level of accountability, experienced with transfers and mobility limitations and understand the utmost respect and quality of life for your clients is paramount, we would like to hear from you.

MUST have own RELIABLE VEHICLE

MUST be AVAILABLE WEEKENDS , some evenings required

Hours vary weekends (approx 9-5pm)

MUST HAVE:

  • HCA Certification
  • Experienced with Point Click Care
  • Valid police clearance/Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Class 5 Drivers License & Own reliable transportation
  • FLUENT Clear spoken English, Written, & Comprehension
  • Independent thinker
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Experience working with empathy towards clients in the senior demographic
  • Legally available to work in Canada
  • When necessary proof of negative TB Results and Updated Immunization Record
  • Flexible enough to accommodate clients preferred hours
  • Comfortable supporting domestic duties to maintain the home

EXPECTATIONS

  • Perform custom tailored procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
  • Cooking is required daily
  • Ability to perform domestic duties with detail and pride
  • Observe and document client conditions and changes following proper standards and in accordance with professional standards.
  • Understand and implement prevention practices
  • Provide Aids to Daily Living and safe transfer methods, mobility assistance
  • Maintain respect and dignity of clientele
  • Maintain Professionalism
  • Ability to show initiative and work well both independently and work well within a team
