We are looking for a Parts Person / Service Writer in Fort McMurray, Alberta, who can support our team by coordinating service work, ordering parts, and organizing mechanics while maintaining strong client relationships.

How You'll Move the Needle

  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and the service team
  • Schedule, organize, and coordinate mechanical work efficiently
  • Order parts and ensure availability aligns with scheduled jobs
  • Prepare work orders and clearly communicate job requirements to mechanics
  • Track job progress and provide timely updates to clients
  • Maintain accurate service and parts records
  • Support shop workflow by prioritizing jobs and minimizing downtime

What You Need to Succeed

  • Previous automotive service writing experience is required
  • Experience as a Parts Person or in parts ordering
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Clear, professional communication with clients and technicians
  • Ability to manage multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

What Would Give You an Edge

  • Experience coordinating multiple mechanics or service bays
  • Familiarity with shop management or service scheduling software
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a high-volume or fleet service environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
