Key Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau Desktop.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Prepare, blend, and manipulate data from multiple sources to support reporting needs.
  • Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Publish, maintain, and manage dashboards on Tableau Server/Cloud.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and data engineering teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports.
  • Create calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, and advanced visualizations.
  • Document BI solutions and maintain version control.
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and support end-users.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Tableau Developer or BI Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
  • Solid SQL skills (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Experience working with large datasets and data blending.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and communicate insights clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica, Alteryx, Talend).
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience with Tableau Prep for data cleaning and workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools like Power BI or Looker.
  • Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist, Desktop Certified Associate, etc.).
