Overview

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape steel components according to production and prototype requirements. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have brake press set-up experience

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 11:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to produce high-quality metal parts.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and production processes.
  • Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions of finished products.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to maintain standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Assist in programming CNC machines for automated processes when necessary.
  • Operate forklifts safely for material handling as required.
  • Fabricate components using hand tools and welding techniques as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with calipers, laser cutting tools, and quality inspection methods.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Experience with machining processes and hand tools is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
