About The Role
We are seeking a Learning & Development professional with experience in manufacturing environments to design, build, and roll out scalable training programs across the business. This role focuses on program architecture, content development, and Train-the-Trainer enablement, ensuring training can be consistently delivered by leaders, supervisors, and subject matter experts across multiple teams, shifts, and locations.
The ideal candidate excels at creating repeatable training frameworks, enabling others to deliver training effectively, and driving consistency and quality in workforce development.
What You'll Be Doing
Design end-to-end training programs that can be deployed consistently across the organization
Build training frameworks that support delivery by supervisors, team leads, and subject matter experts
Partner with operations, quality, safety, and HR teams to define training standards and deployment plans
Support onboarding, role-based, and ongoing skills development programs across manufacturing functions
Design and implement Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs to equip internal trainers with the tools, materials, and guidance needed to deliver training effectively
Develop trainer guides, facilitation notes, certification criteria, and evaluation tools
Establish standards for trainer qualification, readiness, and ongoing effectiveness
Coach internal trainers and leaders to ensure consistent training delivery and learner experience
Develop high-quality, modular training content including presentations, work instructions, job aids, SOPs, e-learning modules, and assessments
Translate manufacturing processes and technical knowledge into clear, standardized training materials
Ensure content is scalable, reusable, and adaptable across departments and sites
Maintain training content to reflect process, equipment, and compliance changes
Support training deployment through learning management systems (LMS) or other tracking tools
Establish documentation, version control, and governance for training materials
Support training compliance, reporting, and audit readiness
Define success measures for training programs and trainer effectiveness
Analyze feedback and performance data to improve training content and rollout effectiveness
Drive continuous improvement in training systems and approaches
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience
3–7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, training program design, or workforce development
Experience supporting training in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proven experience designing scalable training programs and Train-the-Trainer models
Strong content development and instructional design capability
Experience rolling out training across multiple sites, shifts, or business units
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments (safety, quality, compliance)
Experience developing e-learning or blended learning solutions
Ability to travel to support site rollouts/training programs
Strong presentation & communication skills
Familiar/experienced in project management procedures to support rollouts
