Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, efficient time management, and a passion for the food industry. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to ensure you excel in your responsibilities.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience in guest services, hospitality, or customer service roles
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and bill splitting purposes
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent service standards
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to foster guest satisfaction
