Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software (QuickBooks or similar). This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the financial health of our organization.

Duties

  • Maintain ledgers, generate invoices, and other data entry/admin duties.
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and provide solutions.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to support financial planning initiatives.
  • Maintain organized bookkeeping practices to facilitate audits and reviews.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Bookkeeper/Accountant or in a similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
