We have an excellent full-time opportunity at our Pefferlaw location for an energetic person to provide exceptional Sales and Service to our valued customers.

Duties to include the following:

  • Serve customers by providing product information in person at the counter, as well as by email and phone
  • Create quotes and enter sales orders through ERP system (Syspro)
  • Provide support to Branch Sales Rep
  • Process customer returns
  • Process electronic and cash payment transactions
  • Prepare and reconcile day end deposits
  • Maintain showroom and general housekeeping
  • Responsible for opening/closing of showroom
  • Assist with annual inventory and periodic cycle counting
  • Create purchase orders and supply chain transfers for sales orders
  • Receive purchase orders and supply chain transfers into inventory
  • Continue ongoing development of product knowledge of BMI products and allied products
  • Assist with warehouse duties when needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office, POS systems, ERP Software)
  • Superior communication skills utilizing tact and diplomacy and professionalism at all times
  • Mathematically inclined
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Highly flexible – able to adjust quickly in a varied environment
  • Able to work both independently and as a team player
  • Possesses excellent time management skills
  • Energetic, motivated to continue to increase product knowledge including installation techniques
  • Confident in making sound decisions
  • Effective communicator with staff as well as all levels of management
  • Thrives working in a very fast-paced environment
  • Exterior building products & industry knowledge an asset

Details:

  • Starting wage of $19-$21/hr.
  • Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm from April to December
  • Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm from December to April
