Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that products are assembled, packaged, and prepared for distribution efficiently and safely. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Assemble products according to specifications, following quality control standards.
- Package finished goods for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus; certification may be required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Experience with assembly processes and packaging techniques is advantageous.
- Proficient in using hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
