Virtual Services & Access Navigator

(Part Time, Contract until November 17,2025)

Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or status.

We aresearching for a Part-time Virtual Services & Access Navigator to focus on supporting newcomer clients to get familiar, understand, be able, and comfortable using virtual and remote services.

What you will be doing:
  • Conduct initial intake and screening for newcomer clients remotely, over the phone and through various CCS virtual and remote service outlets
  • Screen and assess newcomer client's digital literacy level, access to devices, and comfort using virtual services
  • Connect clients to settlement workers at CCS programs as per eligibility, language, and presenting need.
  • Develop and execute outreach plans to promote the program and recruit participants
  • Support, enhance and facilitate newcomer's digital literacy learnings in collaboration with CCS programs.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely statistical, narrative, and program progress reports.
  • Attend required agency activities and meetings.

What are we looking for?

  • A community college diploma in Social Sciences, Humanities, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
  • A minimum of one year's experience in client facing role in a community setting.
  • Proven experience working with clients from diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
  • Comfort and agility using various virtual service outlets, such as website chat, social media and messaging platforms.
  • A valid Social Insurance Number and legally entitled to work in Canada under relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
  • Successful completion of a background check and/or vulnerable sector check upon hire

Location: Mississauga, ON

Compensation: $27.05 to $ 30.11 based on experience

Hours of work: 14 hours per week, during standard business hours (9am to 5pm).
