Learning And Development Specialist

Role Overview:
The Learning and Development Specialist will design, implement, and deliver training programs that support the growth and performance of all employees. This role focuses on identifying learning needs, creating practical and engaging training materials, and helping build a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Design and Delivery
- Develop, deliver, and assess onboarding and ongoing training for mortgage brokers, administrators, and support teams.
- Create clear, engaging learning materials for both in-person and virtual sessions.
- Ensure all training follows company compliance standards.
Learning Needs and Analysis
- Work with Team Leads regularly to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Conduct competency reviews and use feedback to improve training programs.
Program Management
- Plan, schedule, and evaluate training sessions.
- Keep accurate training records and track learning progress.
- Work with HR on any assigned corporate recruitment tasks when needed
Employee Development and Culture
- Support initiatives that improve leadership skills, professional development, and employee engagement.
- Promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing across the business.
Continuous Improvement
- Measure the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements.
- Stay informed on new learning methods and tools to improve delivery and engagement.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience in a Learning and Development or Training role, preferably in financial services or the mortgage industry.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and practical training design.
- Confident communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Experience creating and delivering both classroom and online training.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compensation:
$55,000-$75,000 per annum
