At Acquafarina, our Line Cooks are integral members of the kitchen team, working under the guidance of the Head Chef to deliver consistently exceptional dishes. This role requires precision, teamwork, and a passion for culinary excellence to ensure every plate reflects Acquafarina's commitment to quality. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items to Acquafarina's exacting standards of quality and presentation.
  • Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in flavour and portion sizes.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation throughout service.
  • Assist with daily food preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and seamless service during busy periods.
  • Uphold strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate any supply needs to the Sous Chef.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in executing seasonal menus and specials.
  • Handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a focus on quality.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training to improve skills and performance.
  • Contribute to a positive kitchen environment by fostering teamwork and mutual respect.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
  • A passion for Italian cuisine and a commitment to culinary excellence.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Valid Food Safe certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
