Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including the handling of inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.

Duties

  • Load and unload products from trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
  • Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
  • Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
  • Fabricate packaging materials as needed to ensure product safety during transport.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking.
  • Proficient in load unloading techniques for various types of products.
  • Ability to fabricate packaging materials as required for specific products.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment safely within a warehouse setting.
  • Knowledge of order fulfillment processes in a warehouse distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Candidates with valid forklift license considered an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
