Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems such as Android and iOS, as well as proficiency with computer hardware, schematics, and software troubleshooting. The technician will also assist customers with retail sales and provide expert advice on device repairs and upgrades. Duties

  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues on mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
  • Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems like Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows
  • Use schematics and hand tools to perform precise repairs on internal components
  • Replace or upgrade device components such as screens, batteries, and circuit boards
  • Assist customers with retail sales by providing technical advice and product recommendations
  • Test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality before returning them to customers
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
  • Stay updated on the latest mobile device technologies, operating system updates, and repair techniques

Skills

  • Proficiency with Android and iOS operating systems; familiarity with macOS and Windows is a plus
  • Experience with retail sales environments is desirable
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware components and schematics
  • Ability to use hand tools effectively for delicate repairs
  • Skilled in software troubleshooting across various platforms and operating systems
  • Excellent analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately
  • Knowledge of mobile device components, repair procedures, and safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
