**Job Overview**
We are looking for an individual who has extreme data entry precision, who is detail-focused and highly organized for our Office Manager position. This person needs to have bookkeeping experience carrying a track record of accurately and efficiently supporting overall accounting activities. Someone who has excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy without supervision is required. Will work alongside a senior external bookkeeper.

**Duties**
- Comprehensive knowledge of weekly accounts payable, weekly accounts receivable, general ledger postings, posting journal entries, data entry, bi-weekly payroll, operational bills, entering PO's and information into estimates as well as ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintains records of financial transactions by maintaining accounts, verifying, allocating and posting transactions.
- Coordinating with clients and staff to gather documents for bookkeeping and payroll
- Maintains historical filing records, storage and retrieval systems through the computer and in office paperwork.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise diplomacy and discretion
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
- English, spoken and written (required)

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Payworks payroll experience is an asset
- Excellent clerical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within small company
- Strong understanding of front desk operations and customer service principles.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
