Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Communications Specialist to support the Chief Public Relations and Communications Officer in promoting the mission, values, and success stories of one of South Carolina's leading two-year technical colleges. This position plays a key role in crafting and managing engaging content that informs, inspires, and connects with students, employees, media, and the community. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and editor with a strong understanding of media relations and strategic communication. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that supports student success.



Advertised Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience.



Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communication, or a related field.
