We specialize in custom designed systems, installation, integration and programming of surveillance, access control, security, network, distributed audio and video, lighting control, theatres, etc in large-scale commercial environments. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with an above average work ethic who is detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and can solve problems resourcefully and efficiently to join our team as a Low Voltage Installer.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to run various types of low-voltage wires (14/2, Cat5e, Cat6, Coax, etc.) through finished and unfinished spaces or conduit
  • Install/mount equipment such as (but not limited to) TV's, projectors, projector screens, security systems, surveillance systems, door access control, network systems, speakers, etc.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is critical to avoid errors and additional work/labour
  • Show initiative to efficiently resolve issues and be accountable for decisions
  • Keep work area clean, neat and organized

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must have the ability to perform physical labour and work on a ladder
  • Ability to retain detailed information about multiple on-going jobs
  • Heavy lifting up to 60 lbs. occasionally required (always with another person)
  • Related industry and/or renovation experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Networking and electronics programming experience is a definite asset
