Come join our awesome Ottawa, ON team as an** AV Installer** and be a part of our story This mid-level Installer position will be completing installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, terminating racks, mounting projectors, screens and video walls.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work with Lead AV Installers or Installs Manager to complete AV installation projects
- Learn to review Bill of Materials, Drawings, Project Scope and prepare for site activities
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Perform comprehensive, onsite audio-visual installation including low voltage wiring, rack setup, projector and screen installations, speakers and control systems.
- Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables
- Maintain daily communication with Scheduler, Installs Manager and Account Managers on status of project and task lists
- Must be willing to work out of town, overnight travel will be required on a regular basis
- Willing to work overtime as needed (time in lieu) to meet promises to clients

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to work and think independently and work under tight deadlines
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control
- Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Willing to mentor Junior level installers

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 year of audiovisual integration experience
- Post-secondary education in Electronics, Broadcasting, or a relevant field is preferred
- Any industry recognized training is preferred : Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante

**Safety**:

- Bondable, clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts
- Trade certifications: WHMIS, fall arrest, scissor lift and other safety Certifications
