The Supply Chain Manager is accountable to lead the Adair Strathroy Warehouse & Supply Chain team to meet the business plan scope, budget, and schedule. The Supply Chain Manager is a subject matter expert for demand and capacity planning, network optimization, ERP system (JDE) functionality and PAS-X related activities.
Current work hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. This position is 100% on-site at the Adair facility in Strathroy, Ontario.

The Role
Responsible for the Adair Strathroy Warehouse Operations and all corresponding activities related to inbound receipts, outbound shipments, customs/clearance procedures and materials/components required to support Labs and Operations.
Maintain Warehouse and Supply Chain functions with respect to effectively utilizing labor, equipment and materials aligned to budgeted expenditures.
Accountable for Inventory Management to maintain required inventory levels to achieve working capital targets. Managing the monthly review responsible for cycle count program and metrics, material disposition process and aging inventory levels.
Support the Zydis S&OP process ensuring all information required for Supply Review is appropriately prepared/shared to meet the needs of the business working with Zydis Swindon to develop overall capacity and demand profiles.
Subject matter expert for ERP system JDE. Support and maintain all PAS-X related activities.
Maintains quality standards by understanding, promoting and adhering to cGMPs, relevant group policies and government regulations. Maintains safety, health and environmental procedures. Identifies, investigates, corrects and documents potential environmental and safety problems.
Achieves financial objectives within Warehouse and Supply Chain areas by preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, compiling and studying costs, initiating corrective actions and implementing improvements.
Manages all activities related to the transportation and documentation of hazardous waste.
Perform other duties as required.
The Candidate
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management Required.
Completion of CPIM (APICS) or CSCP certification or demonstrated progress towards certification.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in supply chain management/logistics. Experience working in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical and/or GMP facility.
Knowledge of ERP systems.
Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
Currently Catalent does not participate in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
Candidates with non-Canadian credentials must provide an evaluation confirming the Canadian equivalency of the credentials as determined by the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC) such as WES.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. Use of manual dexterity is required. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, bend or twist, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
