Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various construction and renovation projects, utilizing a range of tools and skills to ensure efficient project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. Experience in construction-related tasks such as concrete forming, masonry, or heavy equipment operation is a plus but not an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry work to support project requirements
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
  • Perform demolition, restoration, and renovation tasks as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute construction plans accurately
  • Conduct flooring installation, caulking, and concrete finishing tasks
  • Support carpentry activities including framing and other woodwork projects
  • Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment around the job site
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
  • Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring tools and materials are organized

Requirements

  • Prior experience or knowledge in construction trades such as masonry, carpentry, or concrete finishing is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment safely
  • Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with schematics is advantageous
  • Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
  • Willingness to learn new skills related to welding, flooring installation, or other specialized tasks
  • Ability to read blueprints or schematics for project execution is a plus
  • Strong work ethic with attention to safety standards and detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.42 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 14 per week
