OVITA Construction Ltd. is looking for experienced, and motivated Concrete/Waterproofing Restoration Labourer to join our team on a full-time basis.

General Labour Job Descriptions:

  • Roof deck hot-applied waterproofing replacement
  • Excavation, demolition, backfilling and overburden reinstatement.
  • Pedestrian and traffic grade thin system waterproofing
  • Expansion joint systems
  • Concrete slab and wall restoration
  • Drain and plumbing replacements
  • Masonry repairs
  • Formwork
  • Sidewalk and asphalt works

General Labour Duties:

  • Chipping concrete
  • Grinding concrete / membranes
  • Skid steer operation
  • Mini excavator operation
  • Waterproofing installation
  • Patching / Parging
  • Painting
  • Sandblasting
  • Caulking installation

General Labourer Requirements:

  • You must provide CSA approved safety boots and hard hat – we will provide all other job specific PPE.
  • Candidates with a G class driver's license and own transportation are preferred.
  • We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar field, however, we are always happy to train new employees with a positive work ethic and willingness to learn.

We offer highly competitive salaries. Hourly rates will depend on previous experience level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$33.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Concrete Forming & Finishing: 1 year (preferred)
  • Concrete Restoration: 1 year (required)
