The Opportunity
Job classification: A5092 - Catering Worker # of positions: Hourly Range: $ $ Position End Date: July 02, Deadline to apply: Until position is filled
This position can support either front of house (FOH), or back of house (BOH) duties. When supporting FOH, this position provides our guests with efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service while following all policies and procedures of SAIT. When supporting BOH, this position provides cleaning, food prep and basic cooking to our outlets, while following all policies and procedures of SAIT. How you'll contribute FOH Serving / Bartending: Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods Processing all guest orders in the Micros Point of Sale (POS) Execute delivery of all food and beverage in an efficient and professional manner Provide guests with exceptional customer service Process of all customer bills and payments Complete end of day cashout procedures, ensuring accuracy of deposit Maintain a high level of safety and sanitation standards Cleaning of tables/counters Monitor and order packaging supply inventory Stock beverage coolers, coffee station/take out supplies, and retail Assist with the opening and closing duties of the outlet Setup and teardown of tables, chairs, décor and AV Assist with replenishing buffet items and all necessary serving utensils Assume related duties as required BOH Stewarding / Prep Cook: Clean kitchen equipment, hand wash dishes, operate dishwasher and overall maintain a high level of safety and sanitation standards Food preparation Deep cleaning of all equipment Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods Package prepared foods, labeling & pricing Assist with the opening and closing duties of the outlet Assume related duties as required What you bring A High School Diploma is required Previous working experience is preferred Please note that only people selected will be contacted during the period the posting is live for
