Position Overview:

As a Pro-Tec Technician, you will perform multi-point inspections and repairs to light and medium-duty vehicles of diverse fuel types, effectively and efficiently. Our Saskatoon not only focuses on medium duty of all industries but also has a strong focus on servicing school buses.

Our Journeyman Technicians are required to work on school buses, perform safety inspections and PDI's as required.

As part of the Pro-Tec service team, you will collaborate to overcome challenges and provide innovations that provide valuable service benefits to the customer – and positively contribute to a safe and ethical environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing quality repairs and diagnostics on light/medium-duty vehicles
  • Follow service processes and repair procedures.
  • Safety inspections
  • PDI's
  • Ensuring service documentation is completed as per instruction.
  • Become familiar with the company's safety manual and report any unsafe practices.
  • Comply with warranty procedures & warranty materials during repairs.

Position Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Technician
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
  • Proven mechanical abilities, strong working knowledge of mechanical application.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 License (will need to supply a recent abstract)
  • Possession of own tools appropriate for the work
  • Organized and a self-motivated individual who can work both independently and, in a team, setting.
  • Familiar with warranty requirements and processes
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Own your own tools
  • Own Transportation
