We are seeking expressions of interest for Journeyperson Industrial instrument technicians for future projects throughout Northern Saskatchewan and Alberta.
**Job Title**: Journeyperson Instrumentation Technicians.
**Job Summary**: Industrial instrument technicians repair, maintain, calibrate, adjust, and install industrial measuring and controlling instrumentation. Individuals may work on remote, industrial or construction sites on a specified work rotation.
**Scope of Responsibilities**:
- Utilizing specific practical and technical trade knowledge in the day-to-day function of your position on construction, maintenance, or infrastructure projects.
- Complete job hazard assessment and put mitigation strategies into place on a task-by-task basis.
- Take direction and perform tasks with minimum supervision.
- Read engineered drawings and specifications to perform work.
- Determine materials required for each job and able to effectively plan task sequence.
- Follow all safety requirements and report any unsafe working conditions according to Company Policy.
- Work in a collaborative and supportive manner with colleagues, supervision and clients.
- Safe rigging and hoisting of components into position utilizing hoisting devices.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial/construction work environment.
- Registered Journeyperson or indentured apprentice.
- Safety Certification Required:
- WHMIS 2015.
- Fire Extinguisher Training.
- Fall Protection
- AWP
- Rigging and Hoisting Certification
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing (if client required).
- H2S, CSTS, PSTS considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel.
