Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Duties

  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
  • Record patient medical histories and update treatment plans in the dental software.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the office.

Experience

Candidates should possess a background in dental assisting or related fields. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with:

  • CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems for dental applications.
  • Medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
  • Orthodontics procedures and practices.
  • Pediatrics experience in a dental setting.
  • Proficiency in Abeldent software is an advantage but not required
  • Experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory.
