Job Overview

As a By-Law Enforcement Officer, you will play a role in maintaining public safety and enforcing the municipal by-law within the community. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to upholding justice, and is compassionate. You will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, enforcing parking regulations, and enforcing the animal control, or other applicable bylaws within the township on a complaint driven basis

Duties

  • Patrol designated areas to proactively enforce parking infractions.
  • Respond to calls and incidents.
  • Conduct investigations into by-law infractions.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, and investigations.
  • Enforce laws and regulations while ensuring the rights of individuals are respected.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with the public and colleagues.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
  • Full valid driver's license is required.
