Your Role

As the Building Operator in Mississauga, you'll be at the heart of day-to-day operations, ensuring every aspect of the property is running smoothly. You'll conduct daily inspections, arrange necessary repairs, and implement proactive preventive maintenance programs that keep the buildings in top condition. You'll be the first point of contact for tenants, responding quickly to service calls, resolving issues with professionalism, and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door. Your role will also involve assisting with annual budgets, sourcing quotations, supervising contractors, and overseeing maintenance and improvement projects, all while keeping detailed inspection, certification, and insurance records up to date. This is a hands-on, diverse position where no two days are alike.
What Sets You Apart

You bring more than three years of experience in a building operator or superintendent role, backed by a strong knowledge of construction, tenant plans, and preventive maintenance programs. You thrive on problem-solving, are confident in your decision-making, and have a natural ability to connect with tenants, contractors, and colleagues alike. You're organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy, with solid skills in Microsoft Office. If you hold a 5th Class Engineer's ticket, that's a bonus. You're also comfortable working outdoors independently, in all weather, at heights, and with physical tasks that keep you active and engaged.
