About Us:

SJ Renovations is a growing renovation company specializing in legal basements, kitchens, bathrooms, and full home remodels. We pride ourselves on quality work, clear communication, and making the renovation process smooth for our clients. As we expand, we're looking for the right person to join as a right-hand assistant to the owner.

Position Overview:

This is a unique role combining administration, coordination, marketing, and hands-on support. You will work closely with the owner of SJ Renovations, helping manage day-to-day operations, client communication, and project support — while also driving growth through online ads and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with client communication (calls, emails, scheduling, follow-ups)
  • Help prepare quotes and estimates (measuring sites, taking notes, drafting documents)
  • Order materials, track deliveries, and occasionally pick up items from suppliers
  • Coordinate with trades and ensure project timelines stay on track
  • Manage paperwork: permits, contracts, invoices, receipts
  • Keep the owner's schedule organized and provide reminders on deadlines
  • Visit job sites to check progress or deliver materials as needed
  • Run and manage digital ads (Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to generate new leads
  • Track ad performance and suggest ways to improve lead generation
  • Update and maintain social media and online listings with new photos, updates, and promotions

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience running digital ads (Google & Facebook/Instagram required; other platforms an asset)
  • Comfortable juggling different tasks day-to-day
  • Basic knowledge of renovations or willingness to learn quickly
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Tech-savvy (email, spreadsheets, ad dashboards, social media)
  • Positive attitude, dependable, and able to work independently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
