About This Role
Our client is a well-established damage restoration company servicing the Orangeville, Brampton and Toronto West areas and they are looking for an experienced, organized, and customer-focused Project Manager to join their growing restoration team. The PM will oversee disaster restoration projects (water, fire, mould, and structural damage), coordinating teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. We are looking on their behalf for a "committed to excellence" individual who is also skilled in client relations and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee residential and commercial restoration projects from initial assessment through final completion.
- Create, monitor, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, technicians, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- rovide regular project updates to clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and workmanship quality.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, estimates, and invoicing.
- Resolve project issues effectively, proactively identifying potential challenges and developing practical solutions.
- Maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in construction, restoration, or related project management roles.
- Knowledge of restoration methods (fire, water, mould remediation, structural repair) is required.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software (Xactimate) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation required for site visits.
- Industry certifications (IICRC, PMP) are considered an asset.
