This posting is for an immediate opening on FDM's Internal Team

NA Payroll Administrator required for day to day running of semi-monthly Canada payroll and providing support to the US payroll administrator. The responsibilities will be:

  • Processing the full payroll cycle and maintaining the payroll system, working closely with the payroll provider to ensure accuracy
  • Running and importing hours from the timesheet system onto the input file
  • Updating the payroll team memo with details received from People Team ensuring all changes are processed on the payroll system
  • Liaising with People Team regarding payroll changes on a regular basis
  • Responding to queries from employees
  • Completing required controls and risk checks to ensure payroll has been accurately updated
  • Assisting with reconciling reports from payroll system with quarterly submissions to authorities
  • Carrying out year end checks to ensure accurate data being submitted
  • Ensuring payroll is complying with legislation and raising concerns with CA Payroll Manager

Essential Criteria

  • Good Attention to detail
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Processed similar or larger size payrolls
  • Intermediate excel skills

Desirable Criteria (not essential)

  • Experience with ADP is an asset
  • Professional qualification or membership
  • At least 1 year payroll experience
