The Role

- This is a regular full-time position based on 40 hours of work per week, (Monday-Friday) with extended hours during busy season (February to April)
You will
As a Tax Manager at CBM Chartered Accountants LLP, you will play a key role in delivering innovative tax strategies and exceptional client service. You'll leverage your advanced understanding of Canadian tax legislation with the requirement of completing of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course in order to guide complex engagements, ensure compliance, and contribute to the continued growth of our firm.
Qualifications
The Candidate Must-Have Skills and Core Competencies
- Completed CPA Designation
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Public Accounting experience, focusing heavily on tax
- Completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course
Preferable Skills and Core Competencies
- Tax research
- Memo writing
- Preparation of tax correspondence with legal counsel
- Preparation/review of income tax election
- Advanced knowledge of Canadian tax legislation and reporting standards
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex tax provisions and ensuring compliance
- Proficient in software such as TaxPrep and CCH iFirm.
- Capable of handling administrative responsibilities and supporting additional prospective tasks as needed.
Interview Process
